According to the forecast made in the RBR study on cash recycling, a significant increase in automated banking devices (TAU) is expected over the next five years.
Resyclers increased the share of TAU, and this trend will continue. By 2021, it is expected that the recipients will have 84% of all TAUs.
The study also showed that banks prefer self-service devices with a recycling function. Such a function significantly reduces the time for conducting cash transactions and reduces the cost of collection, thereby increasing the efficiency of the department. As the authors of the study note, all recycling solutions provide greater flexibility, reliability, control and more efficient cash management processes.
